Job description Legal Counsel M&A- BCD Group
As a Legal Counsel you will work on a variety of (international) corporate and commercial matters with an increased focus on supporting the group's expanding activities in the area of private equity and venture capital investments.
You will be engaged in drafting and reviewing of corporate documents and related contracts. In addition, you will play an active role in drafting and negotiating various commercial contracts, providing input from a legal and a business perspective. You will be the primary contact and responsible for the implementation and further roll out of the group's corporate governance and the companies corporate and contract management tool. You will work closely together with the General Counsel and colleagues from other disciplines within the group (Tax and Finance).
The Legal Counsel will report directly to the General Counsel in The Netherlands.
Qualifications Legal Counsel M&A- BCD Group
• 3-6 years of relevant working experience as a legal professional;
• Gained at a law firm, preferably in combination with relevant (broad) experience as in-house counsel at a multinational;
• Generalist with knowledge of and experience in commercial and corporate law, corporate governance, compliance and M&A;
• Entrepreneurial, commercial thinker, ambitious and drive for results;
• Experience with family owned business is pre;
• Strong personality, committed, accurate, organized, developed analytical and conceptual skills; good social skills, including great sense of humor;
• Fluent in both Dutch and English language, both in word and in writing.
Key competencies: deciding and initiating action, working with people, persuading and influencing, creating and innovating, delivering results and meeting expectations, coping with pressure and setbacks.
